ECM Tuner or Dyno for 2022 harley davidson road glide?

My husband and I are harley riders, he's now setting up a Stage 1 on the 2022 harley davidson road glide FLTRX.

He's looking at SE Tuner, Vance & Hines FP4, or Power Vision 4.

They're supposedly EPA compliant and won't void the warranty, which is fine since he just wants better performance, not to race.

his dilemma is that the reviews are 50/50, some even say these tuners cause major problems, needing a tow to the dealer.
So, after he installs the air cleaner and pipes, is he better off just getting the bike dyno-tuned instead of buying one of these tuners?

He's worried that it wouldn't work well like the negative reviews

The SE Tuner is a good, dependable pick for your 2022 Road Glide's Stage 1 if it's a Harley. Though the Vance & Hines FP4 and Power Vision 4 have extras, they may face connectivity issues or trigger the check engine light.

For peak custom performance, go for a dyno tune after adding pipes and an air cleaner, but this is pricier and takes longer.

For plug-and-play simplicity, the SE Tuner wins. If he's cool with tweaking, dyno tuning rocks. So, is he choosing easy or all-out power?
