Coolant leak on new design bikes

I remember seeing a bike review video on Youtube talking about this thing hanging off of his 2024 RG (forgot the title of the vid), and I think its somehow connected to this issue my friend keeps talking about. It's a coolant leak that got him stranded for hours. Cut the story short, this is a warning for modern designed bikes to always check underneath, my buddy says that it really is something to watch out for. Anyone with the same experience?

What your friend said is spot on! Checking underneath has become my pre-ride ritual now after a terrible leak almost got me stranded! I got a 2016 Road Glide Ultra VCO so it's a pity to hear that issue is getting more common in new designs!

sure sounds like a rough day for your buddy, haven't had that issue on mine yet (fingers crossed), but I'll definitely be giving it a closer look next ride. Appreciate the heads-up though coz sometimes it's those small things hanging loose that turn into a big headache. Gotta love modern bikes… until they surprise you
