Reason for riding

This might be TMI especially for a thread but I was just wondering what's the reason behind your decision to ride the first time? The 2022 Road Glide isn't my first one. This one's a third. I think my reason is that my uncles always had me as their backride when I was little and I wondered what it would feel like having my own. What's yours?

My dad used to race. He was in the garage most of his time with tools on his hand. Taught me everything I know about bikes. Good man.

For me, it was about quiet, life felt loud back then, and riding gave me this strange kind of peace just the road, the hum of the engine, and no one asking for anything. I didn't grow up around bikes, but the first time I got on one, it felt like something I'd been missing finally showed up.
