Overheating on 19 Road glide

Been noticing my 19 Road glide running a lot hotter lately, especially in traffic or on warmer days and I'm starting to suspect the lower fairings might be trapping too much heat around the engine, is that plausible?. I like the way they look and the added wind protection, but if they're contributing to the overheating, I might have to rethink the setup, anyone else dealt with this? or know something about it

Lower fairings can trap heat around the engine, especially in stop and go traffic or hot weather. Theyre great for wind protection, but they do limit airflow to the engine. A lot of riders notice higher temps with them on, so if overheating's becoming an issue, you might want to try riding without them for a bit and see if it helps
